After borrowing what I was assured was an unused (apart from a firmware update) Reload Pro from a colleague, I calibrated the unit using a bench power supply using 9.99V and 2A.
After the calibration process had completed, I used the Reload Pro to apply a load to the supply to check it was tracking correctly. Unfortunately, I got up to around 250mA on the main display before the unit started applying any load (as shown on the unit and on the power supply). Further increases in the desired current caused very non-linear increments in the actual load, up until around 1A load where the 'requested' value on the display became the same value as being sourced by the power supply.
Any ideas as to the cause of this behaviour?
The firmware is at version 1.9.

Recent versions of the firmware contain substantial improvements to the calibration and feedback functionality. Can you please update the firmware and try again?

Thanks Nick, firmware upgrade did the trick!
