I received the insulation kit for the Reload Pro that I received from the Kickstarter campaign.
Installed it successfully, but .....
When using the reload pro and driving more than about 20W, the Reload Pro shows the temperature warning and suggests to click to reset. But when touching the heat sink it is not warm at all, just room temperature ! ..... (I didn't have this issue before and the heatsink was getting hot when pushing watts)
Is the ceramic insulation piece too thick and not transferring heat properly ?
I used the compound on both sides of the ceramic and all is sitting flush against the heatsink .......
Any advise ?
Thanks,
Xavier.

If the heatsink isn't getting hot, then something's definitely impeding thermal conductance. The insulator is specifically designed for good heat conduction.
All I can suggest is taking it apart and doing it again, being sure to add plenty of thermal goop and making sure the screw is nice and tight.

"Plenty of thermal goop" is not a good idea. Thermal compound is actually not a very good heat conductor (but it's better than most other materials, or not having any).
You want only a thin layer. Just enough to fill the microscopic pits in the metal and insulator surfaces.

Tightening the screw will force any excess out of the gaps, leaving only a thin layer in any case.
